A career opportunity exists within the Hertz Corporation for an Administrative Assistant supporting City Manager and the Human Resources Manager at our LAX location.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to build on their HR experience!

Responsibilities for the Assistant to the City Manager and HR Manager:
Manage calendars/schedule interviews for the City and HR Managers
Tracking and filing applications for Affirmative Action plan
Performing reference and background checks
Creating and updating documents and spreadsheets using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other software
Interact face-to-face and via phone with management, employees, applicants, customers and vendors
Administrative support to include: answering phones, filing, and photocopying.
Customer correspondence
Phone interviews/Schedule interviews
Track Manager Attendance and Non-Exempt Time Away
Special administrative projects, heavy emphasis on PowerPoint

REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years clerical/administrative experience. Preferably in the HR field.
Confident, friendly, responsive communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through
Able to multi-task
Must represent company positively in interactions with individuals at all levels of the organization
Sense of urgency, able to work with limited supervision
Able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access as well as the ability to adapt to other proprietary applications.
Basic knowledge or labor laws a plus
Bachelor’s degree preferred
