Resort Manager- New Orleans
Help us re-open our New Orleans property on St. Charles St. creating and providing memorable guest experiences resulting in repeat visits to our Fairfield Resorts, referrals, and additional sales. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the resort "The Avenues". Ensure that service (behavioral) standards, operational standards, and key and cross-functional processes are consistently executed. Select and develop the resort's leadership team. Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with the Vacation Owner's Association. Ensure the efficient utilization of manpower and facilities. Develop a budget and execute to achieve Fairfield's and the VOA's financial objectives. Partner with Sales and other cross-functional areas that support the resorts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility for the operation of the New Orleans Resort "The Avenues"
Knowledge of the front desk operations to ensure high levels of hospitality are exhibited to all owners and guests
Supervise/Oversee and work with various Department Managers and Contractors
Financial Management including preparing the annual budget and track monthly P&L statements
Supervise/Oversee refurbishment of units, common area and commercial property
Maintain Positive working relationship Boards of Directors
Maintain positive working relationship with sales department, vendors and users of Commercial Spaces
Maintain open line of communication with the owners and guests to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring the success of all Fairfield operations
Perform regular building and unit inspections to ensure resort standards are met and the resort is safe for guests, owners and staff
Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate staff at all levels by providing leadership and guidance
Initiate and implement Resort Management Strategic Tactics as introduced from the corporate offices and new programs to enhance guest satisfaction. Implement programs to enhance employee satisfaction & the Employer of Choice initiative
Create a positive work environment by maintaining the highest level of ethics & integrity consistent with Fairfield values
Supervise and Oversee the rental program
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree preferred (Experience may compensate)
3 years in Timeshare and/or Hotel Management
PERSONAL SKILLS:
Must be hospitality driven to give each owner/guest a World Class experience.
Possess strong leadership abilities with good coaching and training skills.
Ability to work with others and communicate too many departments and resorts at all levels of management
Ability to multi-task & coordinate multiple projects
Deadline conscious with strong drive and initiative and ability to work well in time-sensitive situations
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
Must be able to work well under pressure and be able to make sound business decisions regarding corporate & site policies, procedures and goals
Ability to make presentations to large groups of owners, guests, etc.
Excellent organizational skills, strong work ethic and detail oriented.
Able to respond quickly and decisively in an emergency situation
