Resort Manager IV

Create and provide memorable guest experiences resulting in repeat visits to Wyndham, referrals, and additional sales.  Responsible for day-to-day operations of  resort.   Ensure that service (behavioral) standards, operational standards, and key and cross-functional processes are consistently executed.  Select and develop the resort’s leadership team. Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with the Vacation Owner’s Association. Ensure the efficient utilization of manpower and facilities.  Develop a budget and execute to achieve Fairfield’s and the VOA’s financial objectives. Partner with Sales and other cross-functional areas that support the resorts.

 

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Overall responsibility for the operation of the Resort
 Ensure high levels of hospitality are exhibited to all owners and guests.
 Supervise/Oversee and work with various Department Managers and Contractors
 Financial Management
 Prepare annual budget
 Coordinate with construction and opening of newly constructed units
 Supervise/Oversee refurbishment of units, common area and commercial property
 Maintain Positive working relationship with Board of Directors.
 Maintain positive working relationship with sales department and users of Commercial  Spaces.
 Maintain open line of communication with the owners and guests to ensure high levels  of customer satisfaction while ensuring the success of all Fairfield operations.
 Perform regular building and unit inspections to ensure resort standards are met and  the resort is safe for guests, owners and staff.
 Hire, train, develop, and motivate staff at all levels.
 Initiate and implement new programs to enhance guest satisfaction

 

 NUMBER OF PEOPLE REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:  50+

REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Qualifications Required 5 years hospitality industry experience or a combination of education and industry experience 4 years hospitality management experience ideally in a comparable sized property  Demonstrated ability to create customer loyalty Proven ability to develop a team with exceptional coaching skills Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication and organizational skills Be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends Proficient in the Microsoft Office Environment applications Hospitality driven to give each owner/guest an exceptional vacation experience. Ability to work with others and communicate too many departments and resorts at all levels of management Deadline conscious with strong drive and initiative and ability to work well in time-sensitive situations Ability to keep sensitive information confidential Detail oriented Ability to make presentations to large groups of owners, guests, etc. Able to respond quickly and decisively in an emergency situation


Preferred Qualifications Vacation Ownership experience a plus Degree in Hospitality Management Community Association Manager (CAM) certification Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) Experience in labor relations Knowledge of Rental Marketing
