Manager,New Hotel Content Launch Team - Global Distribution Mgmt
Position Purpose: The Manager of the New Hotel Content Launch Team is responsible for coordinating the delivery of new hotel content in all distribution channels:, brand.com, travel agency systems (GDS) and Central Reservations Systems within established Brand specific standards for all new and converting hotels within the Hilton family serviced out out of the Dallas GDM office. This position is responsible for working and communicating directly with vendors, Hotel, Hotel Management Companies, Hotel Ownership Groups, HHC Corporate and Brand representatives about the New Hotel creation processes and their statuses as appropriate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
AveragePercent of Time
30%Manage day to day operation of Content Launch resources to meet Brand/hotel needs.
20%Facilitate written and verbal communication with Corporate support staff about new hotel creation processes.
15%Escalate and resolve reported issues and answer questions from hotels, corporate support staff, and vendors as appropriate about the Content Launch Processes.
15%Participate in establishment and on-going implementation of team productivity and quality assurance benchmarks.
15%Develop and implement new Content Launch business standards for any new system functionality or Brand programs or business process that include but are not limited to work processes.
5%Manage communication processes with team members on departmental, team and individual goals, objectives and performance.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
•Acts as Content Launch representative for Brand and System projects.
•Communication with hotels and corporate support staff about Content Launch operational initiatives.
•Represents Content Launch team for training and orientation of new hotels and Brand support staff.
•Provide and implement training and development plan for Content Launch team members.
•Identify improvements in technology and processes for Content Launch team.
•Ensure that published Content Launch information is maintained accurately.
OTHER DUTIES
Assimilate into The Hilton Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
GROOMING
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
College degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
5 years in hotel or electronic distribution databases.
3-5 years managing an operational team
Project Management
Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge of Central Reservation Systems, Global Distribution Systems and/or Internet
