Food and Beverage Manager

Plans, organizes and directs all activities and systems in the Food Service Department. Assumes responsibility for budget development and compliance, sanitation, safety, regulatory compliance, menu development, preparation and service of food and staff development. Also assumes the nutritional needs of residents are met through clinical nutrition services.

REQUIREMENTS
BS Degree in Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field. Certified Dietary Manager or Qualified Dietitian. Three or more years progressive work experience in food service management. Comprehensive knowledge of food service systems and administration. Excellent interpersonal, communications and leadership skills. Computer literacy with spreadsheets and word processing highly desirable. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Advanced skills in math essential. Able to lift objects up to 40 lbs., bending, reaching,grasping,walking long distances. Exposure to high noise levels and to high heat and humidity levels.
