Successful candidates will work in our innovative Mobile Concierge role. Stationed throughout the Resort, Mobile Concierge Agents will use portable pc & communication equipment in order to provide quick, efficient, one-on-one service to our guests.Concierge Agents provide flawless guest service to guests/visitors by coordinating guest requests for special arrangements or services. Informs guests of hotel services, features, room amenitites and sells tickets to Gaylord attractions and venues. The Concierge Agent will provide excellent guest relation service through excellent verbal and written communication skills. It is the responsibility of the Concierge Agent to maintain Gaylord Opryland's image by responding to guests in a prompt, cheerful, courteous and enthusiastic manner.Maintain proper telephone etiquette with guests and display a professional attitude at all times. Responsible for getting room numbers or telephone numbers so that guests can be contacted if changes occur. Makes dining, theater, attraction, transportation, concert, tour, travel and other arrangements and reservations for hotel guests. Maintains inventory of local maps and brochures. Exhibit world-class service skills as well as Gaylord Opryland attributes of a positive attitude, strong work ethic, teamwork and a passion to serve. Perform other duties as assigned.Successful candidates will be flexible between both the 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year experience in a hospitality role in direct customer service position handling guest's special requests and guest problem resolution
Must have strong organizational, planning skills and have strong basic computer and typing skills
Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and overtime as business dictates
