A Convention & Catering Services Manager manages, coordinate and execute group assignments turned over by the Sales Department. Monitor all contractual agreements pertaining to meeting space, food and beverage and special concession. Responsible for maximizing food and beverage revenues from assigned groups by solicitation of affiliate business and upselling. Effectively communicate to all hotel departments the information necessary to successfully execute the group's needs while maintaining a good client relationship. REQUIREMENTS
High School or equivalent education required
To assist and provide full support to the Director of Convention & Catering Services in the operation of the Convention Services department for the coordination of group business
Must be team and multi-task oriented with excellent organizational skills
Must be guest and customer oriented and display a positive attitude
Good communication skills and ability to work with others
Bilingual (Japanese) speaking preferred
Background in food and beverage experience helpful
Computer (Windows 95 or higher, Word, Excel and Delphi) and writing skills a must
