Beverage Banquet Captain

HospitalityEffectively monitor the daily operation of the Banquet Department, providing support and guidance to the Banquet team by directly supporting Department management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing all event orders and resumes in order to determine appropriate staffing levels, room assignments, decor etc. in accordance to guest specifications; coordinate with kitchen and all supportive departments in order to ensure a successful event; act as guest liaison and train and coach staff accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education

High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.



Experience

Previous hotel experience preferred. Food and beverage and supervisory experience required. Previous bartending experience preferred.

Licenses or Certificates

Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.



Grooming

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Starwood standards.
