Job Summary: Under direction from the Beverage Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operation of this unit, ensuring the utmost in Customer Service. Supervises the bartenders, cocktail and beverage servers and bar backs.

Job Description
Supervise beverage day-to-day operations as directed by the Beverage Manager.

Ensure that all beverage outlet areas are maintained at a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.

Schedule weekly staff rosters.

Stock orders and stock control procedures.

Cash handling, supervision and checking procedures.

Setting standard of health and hygiene and service delivery.

Ensure excellent customer service delivery.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory authority over Beverage Department (except the Beverage Manager).
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Knowledge of all phases of beverage administration, cost control, and familiarity of all beverage services. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to lead and effectively direct others. Must be competent with various PC based software programs. Knowledge of methods, principles and practices of Food and Beverage. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures and operating standard office equipment. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to develop and maintain a pleasant and effective working relationship with guests and staff.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. Minimum two years supervisory experience in an F&B establishment, preferably with beverage emphasis. Technical experience in drink preparation and service.
