The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated, self-starter whose main focus is quality service, guest satisfaction, and a fun, energetic work environment. This position offers room for advancement and career growth within our four full-service, fine dining restaurants, our various lounge areas, and throughout the Gaylord Hotels family. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the overall quality of lounge areas including service, cleanliness, training and efficiency of entire beverage staff. Responsibilities include the leadership of lounge staff, assigning and delegating tasks, scheduling, coaching, evaluating, hiring, training, and mentoring supervisors and staff for future promotion possibilities. A primary focus for this position is the advancement of subordinate staff through encouragement, active participation in career training, and education.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required
College degree preferred in related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Food and Beverage service industry
Minimum of two years of restaurant/bar management in a full service, high volume establishment
Alcoholic Beverage Commission card required
Serve Safe Certification
Must have experience with administrative, budgetary, and inventory concerns related to a full service restaurant/lounge
Availability to work evening shifts
