Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse - Home Health

Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Association (CCVNA) is currently seeking a part time Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse to provide care to patients within the communities we serve. This position is approximately 20 hrs a week.The Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) is responsible for the implementation of the agency's program in the community under the guidance of the Care Management Supervisor. Overall responsibility is to implement appropriate interventions to facilitate skin care management. The WOCN will serve as a consultant for complex wound, ostomy and continence patients with consideration of psychosocial, emotional and sexual adjustment.Qualified applicants will have current RN license to practice in the State of DE (or license eligible) and BSN required. Two years experience as a community health nurse preferred. Graduate of an accredited, WOCNEP required.
