Weekend Plan RN

Get report from Charge RN on Friday evenings. Visit approximately 6-8 patients a day on Saturdays & Sundays in their home to perform an assessment, treat HF / COPD, monitor anticoagulation status as indicated & provide instruction. May include occassional Friday night visit for injection or trouble shooting, but ususally not.

Approxiamtely 4 week M-F orientation, then begin weekends.

Making the change to caring for cardiopulmonary patients through home health instead of the hospital environment is an improvement in life style, professionalism, and earnings.
REQUIREMENTS
Licensed to practice professional nursing in Texas with 3 years ICU / CCU / Telemetry / ER or related experience. Candidates will need good people skills, ability to work independently to a large degree and with others as well. A good comfort level with computers is a plus.
