Utilization Review Nurse

Utilization Review Nurse Founded in 1995, MTM manages the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) benefit for over 1.8 million lives through contracts with managed care organizations, state and county governments as well as health systems and other programs involving transportation for the disabled, underserved, and elderly populations. We provide this benefit by contracting with over 300 private and public transportation providers nationwide. We are currently managing 2 million trips annually. To meet our dynamic growth, MTM is looking to fill the position of several “Utilization Review Nurses”. The Utilization Review Nurse is responsible for assessing level of need for members/recipients to ensure that individuals receiving MTM services receive the most appropriate, cost effective delivery of transportation and ancillary services based on their medical needs. REQUIREMENTS


The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. In addition, this person must be proficient in Microsoft Office, highly skilled in data analysis and interpretation, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. LPN/RN/LCSW certification with experience in managed care; utilization management, and knowledge of Medicaid and/or other state programs is necessary.
