Systems Administrator/Trainer


- Will be working under the direction of the Director, Quality Improvement.
- The Systems Administrator/Trainer will be responsible for training/re-training staff within the medical management department on the proper utilization of various software applications used within the Medical Management Department. Some of the applications include: CarePlanner, iEXCHANGE, Case Alert, Milliman Care Source, BlueChip and StartingPoint.
- The Systems Administrator/Trainer must be knowledgeable of managed care rules.
- The Systems Administrator/Trainer will review error reports generated by the CarePlanner and iEXCHANGE applications with an eye towards identifying and correcting errors that cause cases to not transfer, or to improperly transfer into the claims payment system.
- The Systems Administrator/Trainer will function as a leader in terms of training staff on the appropriate use of the various computer systems used within the medical management department.Systems Administrator/Trainer Requirements:


- Must be currently licensed as a nurse or social worker in state of DE or a multi state license from a participating state.
- Must have a minimum of 6 years experience in health care, including utilization and case management experience within a managed care environment.
- Must possess proficient PC skills in windows based environment.
- Must have a working knowledge of the key applications used in medical management including CarePlanner Web, iEXCHANGE, Case Alert, Milliman CareSource and all Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
as well as excellent organization skills and strong problem solving skills.
- Must have the ability to disseminate technical materials and information clearly and efficiently to adult learners.
- Must have the ability to motivate and manage teams/classes.
- Prior teaching experience a plus.
- Prior systems administration experience strongly desired.
