The Supervisor supervises assigned staff on shift (RN, LPN, Patient Care Associate, Unit Secretary), performs in a clinical leadership role, contributes to efficient operation of the unit, and demonstrates professional development/clinical competency. While on duty, the Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of care givers administering care to patients aged young adult through geriatric. In this role, he/she will assure that the care, equipment and services provided are appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served.
