Supervisor, Pharmacy (Call Center)



Job Responsibilities:




Supervises daily activities/tasks performed by non-exempt and exempt employees. Monitors operations of a unit and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required using standard policies, procedures and guidelines.


Supervises, coordinates, provides leadership to and reviews the work of assigned staff.


Reviews schedules to ascertain staff needs and unit goals, and assigns workload to meet completion dates/deadlines.


Familiarizes employees with established unit/organization policies, procedures and guidelines.


Performs or assists subordinates in performing duties and resolving problems.


Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team members.


Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates. Researches and prepares various reports for management on assigned topics.


Interviews/hires new employees, ensures appropriate training, conducts perf reviews, counsels employees and takes appropriate disciplinary action.


Other duties as assigned.




Job Requirements:

Essential Skills:




Kansas Pharmacist License


BS/BA Pharmacy; Post graduate degree in Pharmacy preferred.


General knowlege of PC


Excellent verbal & written communication skills


2-3 years of supervisory experience


Prior experience in pharmacy dispensing coupled with knowledge of Pharmacy terminology
