Position Summary

Provides services in the form of haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling that result in sales, services and products that exceed the guest's expectations. Upholds the fulfillment of Life Time Fitness' Mission Statement.

Examples of Work Performed

1. Consults with guests to determine hairdressing requirements
2. Studies facial features of guest and arranges, shapes, and trims hair to achieve desired effect
3. Dyes, tints, bleaches, or curls or waves hair as requested
4. Creates new styles especially for guests
5. Cleans and style wigs
6. Provides personal attention and interaction that enhances the guests experience
7. Provides knowledge and recommendations of products for sale in the Spa and Salon
8. Rebooks guest for next appointment
9. Assists front desk with scheduling and confirming appointments and answering phones
10. Assists Lead Stylist with inventory, ordering and receiving of products
11. Maintains spa appearance and cleanliness
12. Cleans and maintains work stations
13. Washes, dries and folds towels and sheets
14. Achieves goals for product sales and service productivity set by Lead Stylist
15. Stays current on certifications and new trends in the industry
16. Helps team guests with inventory, unpacking and placing products on shelves
17. Participate in promotional work from the corporate level, or from the club level
18. Offers guests clean, hot, scented towels and choice of beverage


Minimum Qualifications

Education:
High School diploma or GED

Experience:
One-year cosmetology experience in a professional setting

Licenses / Certifications / Registration:
State Cosmetology license
