Staff Registered Nurse/ RN/ Dialysis Nurse

Independent Dialysis Foundation, Inc is currently seeking a full-time, experienced licensed staff registered nurse(RN), preferably with previous dialysis experience but will train the right candidate to join their staff in the Baltimore Metro Area.









Job Description:
Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the ideal applicant applies knowledge and skill in rendering safe, effective hemodialysis treatments using approved protocols, policies and procedures.
Duties Include:


Routine operation of dialysate systemInitial clinical assessment of patientinitiation of dialysis and the monitoring of patients while on dialysisObserves and questions the patient to determine stability before, during and following the procedurePerform first order trouble shooting on equipment and make simple adjustments in a direct,safe mannerAdminister PO,IV,and IM medications as ordered by the physicianFollow established procedures to provide infection control measures

Required Education:
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing and currently a licensed RN in good standing with the Maryland State Board of Examiners of NursesAA or BSN Required



Required Experience
6 months of Previous dialysis experience preferred


Successful Candidate will :Practice and promote a high standard of nursing care with excellent clinical, legal, and ethical standards.Possess the ability to exercise good judgement in handling routine procedural tasksUtilize appropriate resources in more complex situationsMaintain careful and accurate records of dialysis treatments, medications, and physician ordersCooperate with the physicians, social workers, dieticians, and the patient to review and update the plan of careRelocation covered for qualified candidatesBase Pay: Commesurate to Experience
