Staff Development Specialist - 6B - Day Shift

Classification: NursingDuties and Responsibilities:
A member of the health care team responsible for the assessment and planning, development and implementation of staff education. Provides leadership in formulating curriculum that is in accordance with the Department of Nursing and Christiana Care's philosophies and goals.
Develops educational curriculum for staff in the hemotology, oncology and BMT departments. Develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs.
Assesses, identifies and priorities learning needs and expected learning outcomes and measures performance to those outcomes. Serves as a professional role model and clinical resource to staff.Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 2 or more progressive years of inpatient Hemotology,Oncology and BMT experience, preferably as an educator. Certified in Oncology required.
