Speech and Language Pathologist

Since its founding in 1975, The New England Center for Children (NECC), located in the suburbs of Boston Massachusetts has remained true to its original mission; providing state-of-the-art education and individualized treatment -with care and respect- for children, adolescents and young adults with autism and other disabilities. NECC is firmly committed to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and encourages applied research. NECC provides a full range of services in a variety of programs including a residential program, staff-intensive unit, early learning program, day school, transition program and behavior disorders program.
We currently seek a Speech and Language Pathologist to develop augmentative and functional communication systems and implement communication training programs. Responsibilities include student evaluations, consultation on IEP development, teacher training and development of communication programs.

REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree, CCC-SLP, or CFY required. Experience with developmental disabilities, background in augmentative communication and applied behavior analysis preferred.
