Speech Language Pathologist:

Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky is in need of an experienced SLP. This is a full-time position with a varied caseload of pediatric and some adult clients. We have a staff of 10 SLP's working in our outpatient office, our acute care hospital contract, in preschool programs and at a sheltered workshop. There is ample opportunity to interact with other clinicians! The position offers flexible hours (we are open 8:00am - 7:00pm) and has no weekend requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
Must be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Kentucky. Some supervisory experience is preferred

Recognizing that serious illnesses and injuries are not limited to senior citizens, Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky's Adult Day Care Program serves clients ages 18 and above. The service is open five days a week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The program is licensed and a Registered Nurse is on site full-time. An Activities Director works with the nurse to develop group and individual activities, including social opportunities such as parties, games, and arts and crafts. Trained nurse's aides provide personal care and grooming, therapeutic daily exercise, and hot meals and snacks. Speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and hearing services are available on site from our Rehabilitation Department. We also offer Respite Services on the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Full day and half day rates plus some county funding is available.

Audiology Services
Our audiologists provide hearing screenings and evaluations, hearing aid fittings and repairs, and hearing testing to children and adults of all ages. We offer state-of-the-art hearing devices, for all ranges of hearing loss, at the lowest prices in the Northern Kentucky area. All audiologists are certified professionals licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Services are provided on-site and at our satellite locations.

Speech-Language Therapy
We provide speech-language therapy to children and adults with a variety of underlying impairments. Therapists perform a thorough evaluation before developing an individualized program to meet the needs of the client. Services are provided on-site during our regular business hours and at satellite locations throughout Northern Kentucky. All therapists are certified professionals licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Our Summer therapy program, which offers rehabilitation therapy to school children over the summer, is the only one of its kind in this area and has won the National Easter Seal Society's Award for Excellence in Program Innovation.
Developmental Intervention

A Developmental Interventionist works with children (three years and under) with physical and mental disabilities to provide developmentally and chronologically appropriate activities. These activities are designed to enhance growth and development, increase independence and assure optimal outcomes for the child. In addition, the Developmental Interventionist works with the child's family to teach essential skills for caring for an infant with disabilities. Services are provided on-site during our regular business hours, as well as at our satellite locations or in the home
