Specialized Wheelchair Tech. Asst.

Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa, is currently seeking a full-time Specialized Wheelchair Tech. Asst. for Mercy Home Care, in our Urbandale office. This position will participate with rehab and home care team members in assessing and evaluating client needs for adaptive equipment. Make recommendations regarding brands of equipment and features available to meet the identified needs of the consumer. Provide services at site accessible to client and

education regarding equipment. Provide correct fit adjustments to equipment and follow up including any modifications needed after delivery.

Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school education preferred. Requires a minimum of 1-3 years related wheelchair experience. NRRTS certification strongly recommended.
