Special Procedures Technologist

The Special Procedures Technologist performs radiographic and angiography examinations utilizing a variety of technical aspects that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic radiographs. Promotes a cooperative and professional atmosphere with an emphasis on patient care.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a graduate of a JRCERT/CAHEA approved Radiography training program.
Must have training in peripheral and interventional Angiography.
Must have at least two years experience in pheripheral and interventional angiography.
Prefer working knowledge of personal computers.

EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
Competency in performing radiologic and angiography procedures.
Competency in obtaining high quality radiographs.
Basic keyboard skills for computer operations.
