Social Worker-Treatment Foster Care-LGSW or LCSW-C

Woodbourne Center, a 200+ year old, non-profit behavioral health and education agency is seeking a master's level licensed to join the staff of the treatment foster care in Towson, Maryland


Competitive base salary PLUS performance bonuses after first 6 months and 12 months.

Woodbourne's Treatment Foster Care program is a vital and growing part of our services to the Maryland community. We are seeking qualified professional social workers to join the staff of our Treatment Foster Care program.

Primary responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment planning, case coordination / management, and advocacy. Daily activities include therapeutic interactions with traumatized children, maintaining supportive relationships with foster parents, and collaboration with other service providers. Opportunities for facilitating support groups are also available.

Ideal candidates are sensitive to the complex needs of children in foster care, interested in providing a variety of interventions, and willing to conduct field visits. Staff members receive regular clinical supervision hours by the program’s Clinical Supervisor (LSCW-C), as well as peer support through weekly staff meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the Therapist LGSW / LCSW-C:


--Master's degree in Social Work
--Maryland Social Work License (LGSW or LCSW-C)
--Prior counseling or case management experience in treatment foster care setting
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication, and teamwork.
--Ability to thrive and succeed in fast-paced quality focused environment with dedicated team of human service professionals
