RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of our Acquisition Technician team, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. You will gather and analyze patient data, test preparation procedures and follow polysomnographic procedures. Your ability to work nights and deliver exceptional personal care will be the key to your success.

Success Factors:
•Provide age appropriate care in the assessment, education and treatment of sleep disorder patients.
•Set up equipment and prepare patients for studies.
•Implement appropriate medical interventions for sleep disorders.
•Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as necessary.
•Ensure proper procedures are followed and data collection is accurate.
REQUIREMENTS
•Technician and Trainee positions available.
•Technicians must have at least 6-12 months experience in a sleep lab.
•Trainees must have at least 6-12 months experience with patient care within a nursing home, hospital, or other healthcare environment. Experienced LPN’s, CNA’s and EMT’s, or other similar professionals are encouraged to apply.
•Clinical skills and knowledge are a plus.
•Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate with referral sources such as physicians and administrators as well as patients.
•Must be computer savvy.
•Customer service mentality and a passion for patient care.
•Full time positions work 4 over night shifts a week. Part time opportunities also available. Candidates must be willing and able to work 10 hour night shifts.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
MD Sleep will reward your talent and drive with an excellent hourly rate of $15 –18 for Technicians and $12 – 14 for Trainees. You will also receive an attractive benefit plan that includes health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan. Our centers are brand new and well equipped!
