WellsBrooke is a premium home health care agency based in Plymouth. WellsBrooke serves all Michigan locations, at many discipline levels. We have a great team established, and are looking to expand!
TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Executive Director and Staffing Management
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Manages the skilled employees, in accordance with WellsBrookes policy and procedures, works closely with the staffing team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruits and assists with interviews to build the skilled team.
Will provide assistance on a consulting basis to staffing team on non-skilled cases.
Is responsible for opening all skilled cases.
Notifies the client’s physician of changes and gets new orders, as needed for all clients.
Staffs and maintains schedules with the appropriate staff.
Receive and review all charting and time sheets from the skilled staff, on a weekly basis.
Coordinates skilled plan of care with staffing team as needed.
Reports to Case Managers as needed both verbal and written.
Promotes WellsBrooke policies and procedures to the client, the client’s family, and WellsBrooke staff.Notify Staffing team and Executive Director if any scheduling problems.Obtain verbal reports from your skilled team as needed.
Performs a priority visit, which requires immediate attention.
Works on additional projects within the scope of knowledge, when necessary and as requested by the Executive Director.
Attends workshops and conferences, as requested by the Executive Director.
Promotes and sets up in-services for your team.
Conduct evaluation visits with your staff.
Check with the Client or a family member weekly how the skilled staff is treating our Client.
Coordination of Clients supplies (DME, Infusion Company, and Wound Care)
Assist Executive Director with skilled marketing.
Set up Care Conferences with clients, families and Case Managers.
Do an Initial Assessment and write up a Care Plan for all clients – coordinate with Field Nurse.
Monthly client review on all clients – coordinate with Field Nurse.
Conducts New Hire Training on Tuesday’s in Plymouth and Wednesday’s in Lansing – coordinate with Field Nurse.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Possesses a current Michigan State License and degree from an approved nursing school.
Has experience as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrates satisfactory knowledge and competency for the delivery of services, treatment and education.
