SHELTER DIRECTOR
YWCA Battered Women’s ShelterThe YWCA of Greater Cincinnati has an immediate opening for a Director at our Shelter for Battered Women. The shelter is a 65 bed urban facility and is staffed 24 hours a day.The Director will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of a comprehensive program of crisis intervention, advocacy, case management and safety planning activities for battered women at the shelter. This position directly supervises professional staff, family support specialists, residential aides, cooks, volunteers and interns and is responsible for the provision of programming and services, coordination of schedules, and the day-to-day operation of the shelter.Requirements include: B.A. degree in counseling, social work, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters Degree preferred. The successful candidate will have a commitment to equal opportunity and empowerment for women, supervisory and case management experience, flexibility, mature judgment, confidence, and an understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence.Please respond immediately with salary requirements to:
