Senior Scientist – Protein Bioanalytical

An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced immunoassay assay scientist to join an established and very successful Texas company engaged in clinical research. The goal is to establish and oversee a new Immunoassay - Biomarker Laboratory that will assess the fate of biological drugs and biomarkers in body fluids & tissues.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements: Ph.D. degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or similar
Relevant experience in industrial biopharmaceutical analysis (4+ years)
Demonstrated proficiency with ELISA, RIA, and other immunological assays
Ability to develop and validate immunological assays
Assay & instrumentation troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with high throughput analysis technologies
Demonstrated ability in data evaluation and monitoring of assay performance
Ability to train and direct personnel in ELISA and other immunoassays
Willingness to be involved with day-to-day science via hands-on participation as well as mentoring of junior staff.
