We're looking for an upbeat, independent individual who would enjoy the opportunity to manage and have ownership over medical spending in their assigned areas. Our new Manager will take responsibility for the overall contracting of large physician, hospital and ancillary groups. Job Responsibilities:
Calling on, recruiting and contracting large physician, hospital and ancillary groups.
Facilitating and directing the high-impact negotiation efforts of a cross-functional team which includes senior members of other departments.
Managing the market cost of the assigned region (IA territories).
Promoting the use of electronic provider on-line service tools.
Performing and monitoring the contract loading process, claims resolutions, provider appeals and service/performance issues.
Spending approximately 25-50% of work time in the field.




Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications:


Healthcare (payor) experience is required.


Contract negotiation in healthcare required.


Prior experience in a provider network management-related role preferred.


In-depth knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and experience in fee schedule development is a plus.


Experience with coding is preferred.


Bachelor's degree is required but will consider commensurate experience, Masters degree preferred.
