The Senior Manager oversees all aspects of the research activities contracted by i3 Innovus, including planning and performing economic/outcomes evaluations, analysis and reporting of studies and contributing to business development through expanded research activities in health services research. This position will serve as the primary contact person on research projects for the internal project team, expert advisors and client.



We currently have a need for a Senior Manager Health Economics & Outocmes Research for our Boston, MA office



1. Responsible for designing and overseeing health economic studies.

2. Preparation and quality assurance of study deliverables, including final reports, manuscripts, posters and presentations.

3. Responsible for business development through existing and new clients.

4. Responsible for training junior staff and collaborating with other senior staff.

5. Generation and distribution of project status reports related to the meeting of project schedules and objectives.

6. Responsible for the development of study timelines and and budgets, and delivering work products on time and under budget

7. Establishes and maintains effective communication between the sponsor, investigators, other third parties and internal team members and management.

8. Accountable for the identification, measurement and collection of information.






Job Requirements:

1. MS/MA required.

2. Five years relevant experience (or PhD and three years relevant experience)

3. Training and/or experience in health economics and/or outcomes research

4. Training and/or experience with quantitative methods or computer programming

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

6. Ability to plan and organize resources required for projects, including task division among team members

7. General knowledge of research methodology, clinical study initiation, and management.

8. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Access, Excel, Word); experience with statistical software such as SAS, SPSS a plus.

10. Ability to work under limited supervision.

11. Ability to successfully prioritize and work on multiple tasks.
