Senior Information Security Risk Analyst

Senior Information Security Risk Analyst Duluth, Minnesota St. Mary’s Duluth Clinic Health System (SMDC), a regional healthcare system, has an immediate opening for a full time Senior Information Security Risk Analyst.



Responsibilities include:
Performs risk assessments and audits to evaluate and report on adequacy of controls, systems, policies and procedures for all current and proposed information technology applications and operations.
Plans and performs audits of large and/or high-risk information systems, infrastructures and integrated business applications to evaluate and identify control weaknesses and non-compliance with regulatory, accreditation and internal information security standards.
Performs field work and conducts technical reviews of supporting technologies to verify systems are scure and support related applications/business processes.
Prepares detailed work papers in accordance with established audit programs and departmental procedures and develops audit reports that include major concerns with effective and practical recommendations for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems management, computer science or related discipline.
Over 5 years of audit or related experience with at least 3 years of diverse information systems auditing and data security experience, preferably in healthcare.
Must possess a detailed understanding of information systems audit procedures and internal controls.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional certification or ability to become certified within the first year of employment.
