Senior Director of Contracting

Mills-Peninsula Medical GroupOVERVIEW The Senior Director of Contracting is responsible for overseeing and negotiating all specialty physician capitation contracts, updating and maintaining contract information within the claims system, determining cost of care expenses by specialty, acting as lead negotiator in health plan contracting (both HMO and PPO), and acting as liaison with MPMG and MPHS staff regarding all contracts. Oversees the functions of the Manager of Healthcare Systems, Contracts Analyst and the Director of Contracting.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

College degree
10 years experience in Healthcare
5 years HMO contracting experience
Physician contracting experience – IPA, group practice or
Individual physician contracting
Excellent management skills
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
