Sales Representative, Radiology Sales (MRI), Chicago area

CAD Sciences is the industry leader providing cutting edge Computer-Aided Diagnosing (CAD) solutions that enable radiologist, oncologist and other medical professionals to screen, identify and to assist in therapy planning of life-threatening conditions earlier.

• Manage the sales process by prospecting, qualifying and closing direct sales with hospitals and outpatient imaging centers in their respective territory
• Maintains a sales presence in the field through continual customer contact
• Prepare and deliver quotations
• Execute a strategic sales plan for assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales objectives
• Follow-up on leads in a timely manner
• Maintain current and accurate records/activities via sales tracking database
• Communicate competitive activities with management and your teammates
• Attend and support trade shows when needed
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings
• Maintain honest and ethical behavior at all times
• Tap into resources. You will be working with a dedicated Application Specialist who will set up customer on-site evaluations and test cases.
• Support Marketing when the opportunity presents itself to you or your territory
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred location for the candidate is in the Chicago area.

This position will be a field position, i.e. the candidate will work from home office.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
• Ideal: Sales Representative with first-hand sales experience in the Medical Imaging industry
• Having an understanding of the basics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a plus
• Experience with Windows software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of computer networking
• Willingness in working in a dynamic workplace that encourages creativity and innovation
• Ability to present to all levels of management and customers
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Willingness to work in a dynamic start-up environment
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Has to be able to drive the process and take responsibility
• Must be willing to travel (up to 50% of time) and on short notice
• Must be computer literate
• Radiology experience with a service vendor (i.e. coils and MRI peripherals) preferred


This position is in a start-up environment. The candidate has to be able to deal with a dynamic changing workplace, an array of different tasks and flexible working hours. The company may ask the candidate to focus on new and changing responsibilities; as such responsibilities are required by the development of the company.
