Responsible for product sales and service, general management, and the business record keeping of a designated territory. Also responsible for keeping current in the knowledge of the healthcare industry to reach sales goals while complying with Olympus's Policies and Procedures. Identifies and pursues business at the account level by making routine calls to existing customers or to new customers. Determines "key" decision-makers, and devises plans to establish Olympus product use in individual, major, and key accounts. Develops and maintains effective knowledge of competition, products, strategies, organization, etc. Provides necessary and appropriate after sale service to accounts, utilizing each opportunity to discover and pursue additional business. Develops and maintains accurate customer information records of key personnel, product usage, and developing opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
(ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) A minimum of 1-year sales experience, preferably in GI, endoscopic, or related clinical sales, or a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience is required. A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred. Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are necessary. Must possess a high degree of initiative and creativity. Must be able to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (or the equivalent knowledge) is required.
