Sales Representative

Position from Sept. 2006 until April 2007
Department: Membership/Sales

Purpose: Enrolls eligible Medicare and Medicare/Medi-Cal prospects in SCAN Health Plan. *Will work in different service areas*

Responsibilities:
Maintains professional knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal and SCAN benefits, including all state and federal regulatory guidelines. Successfully completes Sales Orientation and Medi-Cal Training, as well as other Sales Department or company training modules. Develops prospect sales presentations, community events and group meetings. Establishes productive relationships with assigned contracted providers and medical groups. Develops effective sales resources and is responsible for self-generated leads or book of business. Promotes member retention and is proactive in resolving prospect inquires. Adheres to established production goals for assigned service area. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Job Requirements



Minimum 2 years sales experience in insurance or healthcare related field Excellent communication and time management skills Valid CDL and proof of insurance

Education:
Bachelor Degree, AA or equivalent education

Positions located in Orange, L.A, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
