Sales Leader

Expanding Brentwood, TN based Medicare health plan is seeking a Sales Leader to perform duties related to the sale of our health and pharmacy plans to the Medicare population.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include:
Monitor and manage sales representatives to insure time and resource management as well as achievement of daily, weekly, monthly and season sales goals
Assist in development of sales presentationsIdentify target markets within assigned region
Observe and instruct sales representatives on proper sales techniques and perform ride-alongs to insure sales presentations are accurate, effective, and in compliance with CMS Medicare Advantage guidelinesWork with provider relations representatives to perform on-site education and orientation for new health plan providersMonitor, assess, and report all sales activities for assigned region
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of bachelor’s degree or two year associate/technical degree plus two years of equivalent experience in marketing, public relations, or related field – health insurance or Medicare marketing preferredMust have strong sales and presentation skills and the ability to teach the “why’s” and “how’s” of the sales process
Must be able to speak comfortably in all group sizes
3-5 years related direct sales and or direct sales management experience requiredSalesforce.com experience is helpful, but not required
