Safety Coordinator & Safety Manager

Georgia-Pacific Corporation, a Fortune 100 company is one of the largest towels and tissue manufacturing facilities in the world for commercial and consumer products. Right now, we have an immediate opening in Muskogee, OK for the following positions: SAFETY COORDINATOR - Qualified candidates must have a current LPN license or EMT or Paramedic Certification with 4-6 years applicable experience. Responsibilities include training for mill emergency response teams, administering First Aid/CPR and managing hearing conservation and respiratory protection programs. This will also entail assisting in the implementation of mill safety programs and overseeing all fire protection systems inspections and maintenance. SAFETY MANAGER - This position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Safety, Health or Environmental Management, along with 6-10 years related experience. The primary responsibility of this position will be to develop strategic safety direction for the mill, evaluate OSHA VPP safety compliance and initiate action plans, executing safety programs and policies to maintain mill's OSHA VPP status. This position will also be responsible for the proper documentation for all safety programs and management of Worker's Compensation.
