SSMC-RN II-Critical Care Unit (CCU)*

Sutter Solano Medical Center is a not-for-profit community hospital serving residents of southern Solano County. Formerly known as Vallejo General Hospital, the hospital was established in 1921 and moved to its present location in 1969. The hospital has 111 licensed beds and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Sutter Solano Medical Center affiliated with Sutter Health in 1983 ensuring its ability to continue providing healthcare services and improving the wellness of the people in the communities of Vallejo, Benicia and American Canyon.

Serving the residents of southern Solano County, including the communities of Vallejo, Benicia and American Canyon, Sutter Solano Medical Center offers 111 licensed beds and delivers a wide range of technologically advanced inpatient and outpatient services. These include 24-hour emergency services, critical and transitional care, surgery, diagnostic imaging, cardiac, obstetrics and physical, occupational and speech therapy. The recent renovation of its Family Birthing Center and new Implant Program to Treat Prostate Cancer are examples of Sutter Solano's dedication to serving growing community needs.

Coordinates multi-disciplinary interventions directed at resolving life threatening problems. Focuses on support of patient adaptation, restoration of health, and preservation of patient rights.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Curently licensed as a RN in the State of California. Current BCLS and ACLS required. Final course completion in Critical Care and Coronary Care Nursing.
