We provide safe, nurturing foster homes for thousands of children. We help families at risk stay together - keeping children out of the foster care or group care system - through counseling and other much-needed support. We provide mental health services to individuals and families in the community as well as those in foster care or group care. And for those children who cannot reunify or remain in their families, we offer adoption services to provide safe and permanent families to live and grow into the future. Each of our services is a creative partnership with communities all over the state.
We are currently seeking a dedicated SOCIAL WORKER. This position will be temporary with the possibility of moving into a permanent position in the near future
Social Worker Job Description:
Provide support (training, resources, advocacy, interventions) to foster families as needed to meet the child’s placement needs.Prepare quality plans and reports on time as per Agency standards.Complete state incident reports per Agency and CCL standards.Document all Social Work contacts as per Agency standards.Secure required documents to maintain current Resident and Certified home files in office and foster home as per Agency and state licensing standards.Monitor foster homes for compliance with Agency and state licensing standards.Link professionals involved in each child’s placement to facilitate communications and coordinate services.OUR COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE INCLUDES:

REQUIREMENTS
Social Worker Position Requirements:
Masters Degree in a discipline approved by the Department of Community Care Licensing, or a Bachelors Degree in a related field and two years case work experience with an exception granted by the Department of Community Care Licensing.Valid California Driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.Health clearance.Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance from the Department of Justice.Meets all state requirements as set by Community Care Licensing pertaining to the hiring of employees by a Licensed Community Care Facility.
