SALES - MEDICAL DEVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER Ref. 63C

Due to continued growth our client has an immediate need for an Account Manger to manage the territories of Connecticut and New York counties north of Westchester including Albany. The Account Manager’s (Sales Representative) responsibility is to sell a unique diagnostic instrument and its associated medical device. A strong candidate will have a history of medical capital sales, aggressively winning new business and a desire to maximize earnings through performance. A successful candidate must be able to understand the science of how the product works, why it is necessary and will be able to effectively communicate clinical information to physicians. Our client is a well established but quickly growing, Medical Instrumentation and Biotechnology Services Company. They are characterized by financial stability, innovation and strong growth.
Duties include:
Sell medical diagnostic capital equipment to Hospitals and other similar institutions in the territory. Sell single use medical device to physicians in a hospital environment.Enthusiastically cold call on Physicians like: Cardiologists, Hematologists, Nephrologists, Surgeons, and Radiologists.Confidently learn and explain new standards of care to physicians.

The company has excellent benefits, which include Medical, dental, long and short term disability, 401K. Included is a car allowance and expense reimbursement. Compensation includes a base salary, stock options and a non capped accelerating commission.

Base is $55K and first year expected income is $80K; in subsequent years total comp should be greater than $100K and is only limited by your ability to sell.
