Residents Programs Supervisor, MH / MR

The Residents Programs Supervisor is a managerial and administrative professional who will work directly with adults who are dual diagnosed with mental retardation and mental health disorders in a residential unit. Responsibilities include:*Provide ongoing programming to individuals using an approved Life Enrichment Plan, skill building interactions, and other approved procedures in accordance with ICF/MR regulations.
*Perform managerial, supervisory, administrative, therapeutic interventions, assist in the development of the Life Enrichment Plans, and oversee all documentation.
*Respond immediately to crisis situations including aggressive behaviors, accidents, and illnesses. Interventions may be verbal or physical.
*Supervise Residential Counselors, and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
*Complete all relevant reports and documentations and be knowledgeable and adhere to licensure standards, agency policies, procedures, and standards.**Hours may include days, evenings, and weekends.

REQUIREMENTS
**BA in human services related field
**At least 1 year experience working with severe MR/MH consumers
**STRONG AND DEMONSTRATED SUPERVISORY BACKGROUND.
**Valid driver's license
**Ability to work flexible hours.Shifts include 3-11, overnights. Weekends are included.NHS is an EOE.
