Residential Clinical Therapy Team Leader

Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is searching for a Residential Clinical Therapy Team Leader to join our clinical leadership team. The Residential Therapy Team Leader provides leadership and oversight for our residential therapy program at our Memphis residential facility. Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center provides a full continuum of abstinence-based and medication-assisted addictions treatment services, provided at multiple service locations throughout southeastern Michigan.

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing clinical supervision to the Memphis Residential Therapy Team staff to ensure quality care and the ongoing development of clinical skills by:

A. Conducting regularly scheduled supervisory sessions
B. Providing ad hoc consultation as needed
C. Providing clinical orientation to new admissions therapists
D. Providing in-service training as needed

Developing and maintain a quality assurance and utilization review program for the Memphis Residential Therapy Team.

Maintaining communication with and provide reports to other departments and administration regarding activity, needs, operational problems and general functioning of the department.

Participating as a member of the Clinical Services Leadership Team in the planning and implementation of program development and marketing activities.

Working closely with other clinical services program leaders to assure effective communication and the highest standards of client care.

Representing Sacred Heart to regulating entities, funding bodies, contractors, clients and/or the general public in a manner consistent with the values of the corporation and the standards of professionalism.

Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Center, Inc. (SHRC) is a non-denominational non-for profit addiction treatment provider recognized by the Federal government as a charitable services corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. Currently headquartered in rural Memphis, SHRC was founded in the City of Detroit in 1967 as a street mission serving indigent males suffering from alcoholism. Maintaining its commitment to charitable care, Sacred Heart has grown into a comprehensive addictions treatment provider with a dedicated and skilled staff of over 130 and an operating budget of $8 million. Sacred Heart operates a 126 bed detoxification and residential treatment center in Memphis, a 25 bed specialty women’s residential and outpatient treatment program in Port Huron and four outpatient service locations in southeastern Michigan. Our continuum of care is deeply rooted in the principles of the 12-Step movement and includes such specialty services as suboxone protocols for detoxification, methadone detoxification and opiate replacement therapy.

Location: Headquarters located in Memphis Michigan in North Macomb County (Borders St. Clair County) One hour north of Detroit - 30 minutes southeast of Port Huron - one hour east of Flint.

REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with specialization in clinical psychology, social work or counseling.

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Alcohol and Other Drug Problems (FAODP) examination within 6 months of hire.

Clinical experience in treating substance abuse.

Full clinical license or certification

Certification as an Addition Counselor (CAC-I or CAC-II) strongly desired

Knowledge of the 12 step programs desired
