Research Assistant (Epidemiology)

*** Wonderful Opportunity with Kelly Scientific! ***Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking a Research Assistant to work on-site at the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD.
The Research Assistant will aid in the epidemiological endeavors of the Institute to investigate both the cognitive and the physical functions of aging. This position will entail:
Assisting in defining and focusing study aims from initiation of the study through the execution of the plans, to the final interpretation of results
Accurately filling out documentation to be submitted to the Institutional Review Board and to the Institute
Coordinating and monitoring a multi-institute diabetes trial
Providing advice and guidance on the appropriate methodology, data-gathering instruments, and design of systems for data collection.
Writing research papers and reports
Assisting with departmental budgeting

Conducting literature searches (for example, through PubMed)
The following are required for the Research Assistant position:
Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Statistics
Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative tasks
Candidates who are very organized and detail-oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
