Aegis Therapies managers have direct access to clinical support. Each local manager has direct access to our corporate Clinical Services Department, providing additional support and resources to ensure the best clinical care.

Aegis Therapies is an advocate for our patients and customers. We keep abreast of ever-changing regulatory issues, we assertively pursue the denial/appeal process, and we can indemnify our customers for therapy denials based on medical necessity.

Our Rehab Program Coordinators support a District Manager or Rehab Program Manager with onsite rehabilitation-related responsibilities while providing direct patient care in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. They provide RUGS management per scope of service and perform other duties assigned by the District Manager on a periodic basis. The primary non-treatment activities of the Rehab Program Coordinator revolve around the smooth communication between the therapy department, the facility administration, and the District Manager/Rehab Program Manager. The RPC is responsible to ensure that all therapists have valid practice licenses. Also ensures the timely completion of all billing documentation through daily review of CPT Logs and notifies DM of issues, by daily review of RST logs. Assists DM in scheduling of staff around vacation and sick absences that incorporates direct patient care time sustainment, and more.
REQUIREMENTS
§Graduate from an accredited program for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.

§Must possess and maintain current state or national certification and/or licensure in accordance with the state-specific practice.

§Must possess problem-solving skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

§Must demonstrate good time management and organizational skills.

§Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

§Must be able to relate professionally, positively and cooperatively with patients, patients’ family members and facility staff.

§Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.

§Must meet all local health regulations; pass post-offer drug test, background check and post-offer employment physical exam if required.

§Must be capable of performing essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

§Must have own transportation to travel between sites as needed.

§Must possess computer skills of the type and at a level necessary to accomplish specific job duties and assignments.

§Must meet Clinical Competency requirements upon hire and as needed.
