Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a MDS Coordinator to assist the direction of nursing professionals and to support the clinical operations of our long term care facility in the Richmond, Virginia area. Our company is looking for talented RN's who want to be part of a skilled nursing team contributing daily to the lives of residents and staff. Your clinical expertise will be valued to promote quality care and services.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include

Current licensure in Virginia as a RN
A minimum of 1 year experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility
MDS experience in ltc setting
Knowledge of state, local and federal regulations as they pertain to LTC

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of MDS, RUGS and Case Mix system required
Ability to interpret nursing directives to achieve necessary goals
Assist in the management of the nursing department to maintain quality care
