Registered Nurse - Stevenson House

Classification: NursingDuties and Responsibilities:
This is a position at Stevenson House which is a corrections facility in Milford that treats adolescent offenders.This is a grant funded position.TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms assessments and collects data on adolescent patients on admission and sick call.Evaluates plan of care including patient response and outcomes according to established standards.Assesses patient knowledge deficits and identifies learning needs and carries out appropriate patient education.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of med surg experience as well as experience working with adolescents, preferrably in a corrections facility.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
