Registered Nurse ( RN LVN )

American Medical Home Health Services is searching for Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to fill numerous positions within our home health care agencies in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Mathis, Alice, Beeville, Hebbronville, and Laredo, Texas. Candidates for these open nurse positions will be required to make home visits as assigned, as well as, make supervisory visits to patients and initial visits as assigned. The nurses are responsible for tasks associated with meeting the needs of patients.

They perform basic duties that range from treating patients to educating patients and the community on medical conditions. American Medical Home Health Services' RNs and LVNs promote and restore the patients' health by completing the nursing process in the home environment;
Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
Providing physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends. RNs and LVNs are responsible for identifying the patient care requirements
Establishing a compassionate environment; promoting patient's independence
Assuring quality of care
Resolving patient problems; maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Protecting patients and fellow employees
Documenting patient care services; maintaining continuity among nursing teams
Maintaining patient confidence and protecting operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the open Nurse Positions (RNs and LVN's):

Must comply with all of the agency's policies and procedures. Also, individuals must maintain professional and techinical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Most importantly, interested applicants must maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by adequately communicating information; responding to requests; building a rapport; and participating in team problem-solving methods.
