Registered Nurse Opportunities

F.F. Thompson Hospital is a modern, progressive, and highly respected 113 bed hospital located at the northern end of Canandaigua Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region, just 35 minutes from downtown Rochester.


Thompson has the following opportunities for experienced RNs:

RN - Emergency Dept: Part Time & Per Diem
RN - Med / Surg: Full Time, Part Time, & Per Diem
RN - Oncology: Full Time & Per Dieam
RN - ICU: Part Time
RN - OB: Per Diem
RN - Admissions/Float Nurse: FT Evenings M-F

Nursing Supervisor: Full Time Evenings & Nights
REQUIREMENTS
RN - ED:
Valid NYS Nursing License · Minimum 1 year med/surgical experience · Graduate of an accredited nursing program · ACLS certification · TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred · Prior ED or Critical Care experience preferred · Basic Coronary Care Course within 8 months of employment · Must promote teamwork and demonstrate respect for colleagues and customers

RN - Med / Surg / Oncology
· Graduate of approved school of nursing · NYS license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse · 2 to 5 years of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred · Good Communication skills and skilled in customer service · Reliability and flexibility

RN - ICU:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently holds a NYS license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse. Preferably 2-5 years of ICU or medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting

RN - OB:
· Graduate of approved school of nursing · NYS license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse · Preferably 2-5 years of medical-surgical nursing experience in OB setting.

RN - Admissions/Float Nurse:
· Graduate of approved school of nursing · NYS license or permit as a Registered Professional Nurse · 2 to 5 years of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred · Good Communication skills and skilled in customer service · Reliability and flexibility. Primary Responsibility for admission assessments from ED and post operatives.

Nursing Supervisor:
· Holds a NYS license as a registered nurse · BSN preferred · 3-5 years med surgery or critical care experience required · ACLS and PALS preferred · 1-2 years leadership/managerial experience · Need for flexibility in schedule
