Registered Nurse- Med/Surg - Wilmington Hospital

Wilmington Hospital offers the perfect opportunity for experienced RNs to transition into a dynamic Med/Surg unit. Whether you move from another acute care hospital, physician's office, long-term care, other healthcare setting, or you are a Graduate Nurse, we have both the staff and the resources to ensure a smooth transition. Our Med/Surg Nurses are provided with important resources at the unit level, including patient care techs, STAT nurses, clinical pharmacists, respiratory therapists, IV team, unit clerks on all shifts, escort services, 24-hour stockroom, student nurse externs, dietary services and volunteers.
We currently have full time, part time and per diem opportunities for Med/Surg Nurses available at Wilmington Hospital, a 291 bed close-knit community hospital that provides emergency and primary care to the city and surrounding neighborhoods. It is one of the premier facilities making up Christiana Care Health System -- a recipient of the 2004 Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence, ranking us among America's top 5% for overall clinical performance.
We have flexible shift and shift rotation schedules available: 8 hour or 12 hour shifts for day, evening or midnight. Are you tired of working every other weekend? Ask about our units where commitment is every fourth or even less than every 4th weekend! You will have the opportunity to earn shift differentials ranging from 10% to 30%.
