Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting.
Communicates with physicians about changes in patient s clinical
condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic
studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately
to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able
to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate
supervision. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and
development over the life span of the patient; possess the ability to
identify each patients requirements relative to his or her age specific
needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit s
policies and procedures and skills check lists. Must be able to respect
diversity of each individual’s values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and
other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients,
visitors, and co-workers. Participates in performance improvement
activities. Age of population served: Adolescent, Adult, and And
Geriatric
REQUIREMENTS
Current RN Licensure in the state of Utah. Critical care experience
preferred. ACLS and BCLS certifications within 6 months of hire.
